cIntosh offers a range of power controllers under the MPC series, designed to protect and enhance the performance of your audio equipment. The primary models include:
MPC1500 Power Controller
The MPC1500 provides total isolation, low noise, and clean, consistent power to your home audio system. It features a toroidal isolation transformer and a quick-acting surge suppression module. The unit offers six medical-grade Type B (NEMA 5-15R) duplex receptacles or six high-quality Type F (CEE 7/3 or "Schuko") single receptacles, depending on the region. Two receptacles are always active, while the remaining four can be programmed via rear panel Power Control switches. The front panel includes blue watt meters displaying real-time voltage and current draw.
MPC500 Power Controller
The MPC500 safeguards your audio equipment from power inconsistencies and surges. It employs a thermally protected metal-oxide varistor (TPMOV) for AC power line surge protection and offers secondary surge protection for ethernet, coaxial, and other low voltage devices. The unit includes electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering and over/under voltage protection. It comes with either eight Type B (NEMA 5-15R) or four Type F (CEE 7/3 or "Schuko") receptacles, with control configurable via rear panel Power Control ports or front panel setup menus. The front panel display shows input voltage, current draw, or total power consumption.
Both models feature McIntosh's signature black glass front panel, illuminated logo, control knobs, and aluminum end caps, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with other McIntosh components.
